Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has emerged as a possible target for Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.

Barcelona are in the market for a new striker in the next window and have been studying the profiles of a number of players across Europe.

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has been a long term target for the club and he almost joined Barcelona last summer before deciding to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Barcelona remain keen on the Frenchman, but given the player’s indecision over his future, the Catalan giants also have eyes on other players.

And according to Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo, Lacazette has popped up on Barcelona’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman’s performance have piqued the interest of Barcelona, who want to sign a versatile hitman who can play across the frontline for the club.

Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal is claimed to be close to Lacazette, with whom he shared an agent.

But Arsenal are clear about not selling the player and could be unlikely to entertain offers for him, meaning Lacazette may have to push for the move for it to happen.
