The financial demands of Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot and his entourage have made his suitors wary of signing him this summer.
Rabiot is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and he will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old midfielder’s contract situation has attracted the interest of several clubs across Europe and his representatives have been in talks with many of them.
Barcelona have already offered him a contract and there has also been interest from clubs such as Tottenham, Juventus and Arsenal.
But according to Italian outlet FcInterNews.in, Rabiot and his representatives’ financial demands have made him a difficult player to sign this summer.
The Frenchman has demanded wages to the tune of €8m per season net on a five-year contract, combined with a €10m agent fee for his mother.
The total valuation of a proposed deal, including taxes, could set the buying club back €100m.
Rabiot is yet to find a club despite his contract expiring next month and it seems his suitors could be waiting for him to water down his financial demands.
