Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko would need the stars to align to secure a permanent move to AC Milan in the summer transfer window.

Bakayoko is approaching the end of a season-long loan at AC Milan from Chelsea and the Rossoneri have been swinging one way and then the other over activating a purchase option in the loan agreement.

However, with Bakayoko having annoyed coach Gennaro Gattuso, not least by turning up late for training, along with the Rossoneri's chances of Champions League football, the Italians are at present against keeping him.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Bakayoko would need everything to fall in his favour for the move to happen.

Bakayoko's behaviour would have to be flawless, with trust between the player and club having suffered.

And AC Milan would also have to qualify for next season's Champions League.

AC Milan are now seventh in the Serie A standings and three points adrift of fourth placed Atalanta, who have a better goal difference.
