Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has told Manchester United linked Gareth Bale that he is not part of his plans going forward and has asked him to find a new club in the summer, it has been claimed.

The Welshman did not have the best of relationships with the Frenchman during Zidane's first reign as Real Madrid coach despite being a big part of the side's success in the Champions League.

There were claims that he would have left Real Madrid had Zidane continued last summer and his future again came under the scanner when the former World Cup winner returned to the club earlier this year.

Bale has not been keen to leave Real Madrid despite all the rumours, but it has been claimed that the scenario might have changed.

According to Madrid-based daily Marca, the winger is one of the players that Zidane has met in a one-on-one meeting and directly told them that they are not part of his plans.

The Frenchman has made it clear to the player that he wants him to leave the club in the summer.

The winger has been linked with a move back to the Premier League with Manchester United believed to be interested.

It remains to be seen if Bale does leave Real Madrid as despite Zidane's ideas he could choose to fight for his place.
