Liverpool Working To Lock Jurgen Klopp Down On New Contract

Liverpool have already offered Jurgen Klopp a new contract as they look to keep him away from the clutches of other clubs, it has been claimed.

Klopp has led Liverpool to their second consecutive Champions League final and they are still in with a chance to win the league on the final day of the Premier League campaign.

The German signed a new six-year contract with Liverpool in 2016 and appears set on about continuing at Anfield for the foreseeable future.

But other clubs have been fluttering eyes at the former Dortmund boss with Juventus believed to be keen on taking him to Turin.

However, Juventus have received no signal that Klopp wants to leave and, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, he is likely to sign another new deal with Liverpool.

It has been claimed that Liverpool have already placed an offer on his table that will take the German’s net earning power beyond the €10m mark, excluding performance-based bonuses.

The German is keen to stay and is a big part of the club’s plans to take Liverpool forward.

It remains to be seen whether he can manage to win the first trophy of his time at Liverpool in the coming month.
