The agent of Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has conceded that the striker could consider a move to Napoli and indicated the Italian giants were keen on the Spaniard in the past.

The Spaniard scored the important winning goal for Tottenham against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals and made an impact when he came on against Ajax on Wednesday night.

But he is likely to leave the club in the summer in search of more first-team football after his contract expires and has been heavily linked with a return to his former side Athletic Bilbao.

But his brother and agent, Jesus Llorente, indicated that the former Juventus man would not shy away from considering a move to Napoli if there is a possibility this summer.

Asked about the speculation in the past which linked the striker with Napoli, Jesus told Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss: “When there are rumours, there is always a grain of truth.

“He played at Juventus but it would be nice to have an experience at Napoli as well.”

The veteran striker has expressed an interest in finishing his career at his former club Athletic Bilbao.

But he could have several different options this summer, especially with Spurs' Champions League run putting him in the shop window.
