West Ham target Christian Kouame has insisted that he is not thinking about his future at Genoa despite rumours of his exit this summer.

Genoa signed the forward last summer from Italian second tier side Cittadella and the 21-year-old has managed to impress in his first season in Serie A.  
 



Scoring four goals and providing six assists in the league, Kouame has managed to attract the interest of several clubs ahead of the end of the current campaign.

West Ham have identified the young forward as a potential recruit and he has also been linked with a move to Serie A giants Napoli this summer.
 


But Kouame stressed that he is happy at Genoa at the moment and is not thinking about leaving the club ahead of the start of next season.



“I still have a four-year contract”, the forward told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I am fine here.

It remains to be seen whether he changes his mind if clubs do approach him during the summer transfer window.
