Manchester United are on the verge of signing Leeds United target Daniel James this summer, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The young winger was on his way to Leeds on deadline day in January but the move failed to go through after Swansea backed out an agreement with the Elland Road outfit.

The 21-year-old has continued to impress in a Swansea shirt this season and has netted five goals and provided ten assists in all competitions for the Welsh outfit, as Leeds have continued to be linked.

And it seems he is on the verge of a Premier League move as it has been claimed that Manchester United are close to thrashing out an agreement with Swansea.

The Premier League giants have been in talks with the Championship outfit and are said to be close to working out a deal worth £15m.

Once the two clubs reach an agreement, James will travel to Manchester to undergo a medical and work out a personal agreement with the Red Devils.

Manchester United are set to move early in the market and are on the verge of completing their first summer signing.
