Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier continues to remain a priority target for Napoli ahead of the quickly approaching summer transfer window.

Trippier has not been a certain starter at Tottenham this summer and the club are believed to be prepared to let him go in the coming months, if the price is right.

The England full-back has been attracting interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, who are in the market to bring in a new right-back this summer.

Napoli have been the ones who have put in the legwork to sign Trippier and Tottenham have already rejected an offer from the Serie A giants for the defender.

But the Italian club have continued to keep tabs on him and, according to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport, the defender is still their priority target for the right-back position.

Napoli have carried out their checks on the England international and are still looking to take him to Italy.

The Serie A giants will only move onto the other targets if they believe that they will not be able to sign Trippier this summer.

It remains to be seen if Napoli can do a deal with Tottenham to snap up Trippier.
