Paris Saint-Germain have met the entourage of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur target Youcef Atal ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old right-back has been generating traction in the transfer rumour mill ahead of the end of the season.
The Algerian defender has had an impressive season at Nice and the club are keen to offer him a new deal in order to keep hold of him beyond the summer transfer window.
But big-name clubs are lining up to assess whether they can get their hands on Atal and he has already been linked with interest from Chelsea and Tottenham.
However, he has also been on the radar of French champions PSG and, according to French magazine France Football, the Parisians have already initiated contact with his entourage.
Atal’s representatives have met PSG over the defender’s future and initial discussions over a transfer have already taken place.
Nice do not want to sell, but for the moment it seems big clubs are putting the wheels in motion to snare Atal away from them.
He still has a contract until 2023 with Nice and has insisted he is happy to stay at the club.
