Paris Saint-Germain have taken the decision to sell Manchester United target Thomas Meunier during the summer transfer window.

The defender returned to the club last summer following a good World Cup, convinced about being a certain starter this season.

But the defender has not seen his hopes materialise and he has struggled to get into the line-up under Thomas Tuchel during the course of the campaign.

The 27-year-old is currently out injured and has likely played his last game for PSG, with him entering the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes this summer.

The Parisians have not offered him a new contract and, according to French sports daily L’Equipe, sporting director Antero Henrique has decided to sell the Belgian in the coming months.

With Meunier also wanting to leave, the club and the player are set to part ways during the summer transfer window.

He has a year left on his contract and has attracted the interest of Manchester United, who are in the market for a senior right-back.
