Paris Saint-Germain are putting in hard work behind the scenes to put a deal in place to land Everton target David Neres from Ajax.

The 22-year-old Brazilian forward has impressed during Ajax's superb season and now the Amsterdam club are steeled for him to move on.

AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Everton are all interested in Neres and the Toffees seemed to be boosted recently by the news that the player prefers a Premier League switch.

But PSG are desperate to land Neres and, according to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, have been holding high-level meetings behind the scenes to do the deal.

The French champions have had several conversations with Ajax and it is claimed that the Dutch giants are looking for in excess of €50m to sell Neres.

Ajax are prepared to cash in on Neres, but only on their terms.

The talks are being led by former Ajax star Maxwell.
