Fans Have Been Outstanding – Rangers Star Urges Season Ticket Renewals

Rangers defender Ross McCrorie has thanked the fans for their unflinching support this season and hopes they will once again turn up in numbers next term.

Steven Gerrard's team missed out on the Scottish Premiership title, but there were some encouraging performances in the 2018/19 campaign for the Gers.

The Gers produced one of their best performances under Gerrard in their last league outing, where goals from James Tavernier and Scott Arfield handed them a convincing 2-0 win over Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox.

Despite failing to overhaul Celtic this season, the fans have turned up in numbers to cheer their team on.

McCrorie, acknowledging their dedication, has thanked them for their support, while urging them to renew season tickets as soon as possible.

McCrorie told Rangers TV: "The fans have been outstanding all season, the backing that they have given us has been tremendous and you can see that the ticket sales have been soaring all season.

"I think that the season tickets are up for renewal on Monday and we can just hope that the fans come back in their numbers again.

"We need the fans and they’ve been tremendous this season."

Rangers, who are on a six-game winning run, will make the trip to Kilmarnock for their final game of the season on Sunday afternoon.
