Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has revealed the club have not given up hope of keeping Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool linked Julian Brandt.

The German winger has a release clause set at just €25m, meaning Leverkusen will be powerless to prevent his departure if the figure is met in the summer.

Brandt has been tipped to leave, with Dortmund reportedly favourites over Liverpool and Tottenham, but Voller says Leverkusen have not yet given up on keeping him at the BayArena.

Following Leverkusen's 5-1 win at Hertha Berlin which secured a fourth place finish in the Bundesliga, Voller told Sky Deutschland: "We have not given up hope because he knows what he has here with us."

The sporting director also stressed that Leverkusen now have Champions League football to offer Brandt.

"The coach has reinvented his position a bit and he also knows that he has great players here.

"And of course he can now play in the Champions League", Voller added.
