Dapo Mebude has hailed his debut for Rangers in the Gers' final Scottish Premiership match of the season, away at Kilmarnock.

The young attacker was thrown on by Gers boss Steven Gerrard, entering the fray at Rugby Park just after the hour mark.

Though Mebude could not help Rangers avoid a 2-1 defeat, he admits it is a day he will never forget and topped off a good season of progress.

Posting a photograph of himself being brought onto the pitch, Mebude wrote: "Blessed for this special moment for me and my family today.

"To make my debut for a club of this stature means the world and something I'll never forget.

"Topped off a great season at Rangers", he added.

Just 17 years old, Mebude has been tipped for a bright future and will look to build on his first senior team appearance for the Gers.
