Celta Vigo are showing interest in securing the services of Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa this summer, it has been claimed.

Leeds have an option to extend Bielsa’s contract at the end of the season but it is not a unilateral decision on the club’s part.

The Argentine is set to hold talks with Leeds in the coming days and the Whites are hopeful that they will be able to hold on to the mercurial coach for next season.

There are suggestions that Bielsa is angling towards continuing at Leeds but it has been claimed he will have offers on his table from other clubs as well.

Roma have been linked with Bielsa and now, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Celta Vigo are eyeing snaring him away from Elland Road this summer.

The Spanish side are eyeing a change on their bench for next season and the club are assessing the possibility of appointing Bielsa.

The Argentine remains a popular coach in Spain because of his history at Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao.
