Manchester United are interested in signing Fluminense forward Pedro this summer, but the Brazilian club do not want to sell before their presidential elections next month.

The 21-year-old forward was close to joining Real Madrid last summer but he suffered a serious knee injury, which ended hopes of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The forward recently returned to full fitness and has scored twice in four appearances since recovering from his knee injury.

Pedro’s future has again been under the scanner as according to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Manchester United are interested in signing the forward this summer.

The Premier League giants have been keeping tabs on the player for a while and are considering taking him to England during the ongoing transfer window.

However, an offer has not been tabled yet and Fluminense will not sell the forward until their presidential elections take place on 8th June.

Pedro is open to a move to England but he will soon feature for the Brazil Under-21s in the Toulon tournament.
