Manchester United are yet to reach an agreement over a fee with Swansea for Leeds United target Daniel James, according to the BBC.

James has reportedly agreed personal terms on a contract with Manchester United and has made it clear that he wants to move to Old Trafford this summer.

Brighton have made a move for him as Graham Potter wants to snare him away from the Welsh club, but it became clear to the Seagulls that James is only interested in a move to Old Trafford.

There have been suggestions that an agreement is in place between the two clubs for a £15m move for the 21-year-old winger.

But it has now been claimed that the two clubs are still to thrash out a transfer fee for James’ possible move to Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United have continued to hold talks with Swansea and there continues to be an expectation the deal can be done.

James is tipped to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing of a summer where the Manchester United manager is keen to carry out a massive retooling of his squad.

The winger was close to joining Leeds in January and even had a medical at the club before Swansea pulled out of the deal in the final hours of deadline day.
