Rangers are keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur youngster Albert Rachi in an attempt to bolster their youth academy even further, according to the Evening Times.

The highly-rated Albanian youngster moved to north London last year and is a graduate of the Eurostar academy.

In recent years, the Scottish Premiership outfit have invested heavily to strengthen their youth system, hoping to develop players capable of playing in the senior team.

Rachi, who joined Spurs Under-16 side in 2018, is on their radar for the upcoming season.

He has played for Albania at youth level, representing the Red and Blacks in a 1-0 win over Azerbaijan in the Under-17 European Qualifiers.

The Light Blues have been successful at youth level, winning silverware at a number of different age groups.

Steven Gerrard has also kept a close eye on the club's up and coming talents, not shying away from giving them minutes in the senior team.

It remains to be seen if Rangers can snare Rachi away from Tottenham.
