Chelsea have no plans to keep hold of Gonzalo Higuain for next season and the striker has interest from China.

Higuain is approaching the end of a loan spell at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have an option to keep him for a further year.

It has been speculated that with the club's transfer ban kicking in from this summer, they may look to keep hold of Higuain and take up the option.

But, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Chelsea do not want to keep Higuain, a situation his parent club Juventus are aware of.

Juventus do not want Higuain back on the books and are claimed to be looking for another club for him to move to.

He has interest from China in the shape of Hebei Fortune.

The Chinese Super League side are willing to hand the striker a contract running until the end of 2021 on a salary of €13m per year.
