Leeds United target Eddie Nketiah is due to make a decision over which club to join on loan from Arsenal today.

The 20-year-old striker has emerged as Leeds’ top target and the club are pushing to sign him on loan from Arsenal ahead of Thursday’s Championship transfer deadline.

Leeds director of football Victor Orta was in London on Tuesday to hold talks with Arsenal officials and manager Unai Emery to convince them about a loan move to Leeds for Nketiah.

The 20-year-old also has offers from Championship side Bristol City and Bundesliga outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf this summer.

And according to The Athletic, Nketiah will take a call on which club to join on loan this summer by the end of the day.

The striker has been deliberating over his options and Leeds believe they have done the groundwork to land him on loan by Thursday’s deadline.

Marcelo Bielsa has offered him a key role in his Leeds squad and the striker is likely to favour playing more football over other considerations.

Liverpool’s Ryan Kent has also been on Leeds’ radar, but the club are now favouring a move for Nketiah.
