Nice coach Patrick Vieira believes Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is not aware of his immense abilities and how good he can be in the future.

Vieira coached Harrison at New York City FC and has remained a big fan of the winger since he first set his eyes on him at the Big Apple.

Currently coaching Nice in Ligue 1, the Frenchman has continued to keep tabs on the winger’s development and admits that he thought Harrison is a special player since the first day he watched him.

He believes the Leeds winger has the X-factor when he is on the ball and has always been a very quick learner.

Vieira told The Athletic: “I saw from day one that he had something special.

“If you got the ball to his feet, something would happen. He learned very quickly and I had a lot of respect for him.”

The Frenchman also believes the player himself is not aware of how good he can be on his day and revealed that he is one of the most technically gifted players he has worked with.

He believes the winger has everything he needs to become a top player.

“I don’t think he realises how good he is”, Vieira says.

“Technically he’s got a real gift. I saw it as soon as I watched him. It was all there.”
