Marco van Ginkel has warned Chelsea that they will have to pay close attention the Ajax trio of Dusan Tadic, Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek tonight.

Ajax played some thrilling football on their way to the Champions League semi-final last season and are sitting pretty at the top of their group at the moment this term.

Chelsea are third in the group and will look to get something from their trip to Amsterdam tonight when they take on the Dutch champions at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Ajax are known for their pretty football and Van Ginkel feels Chelsea will need to deal with the overall quality of the Dutch giants if they want something from the game.

But he believes that his Chelsea team-mates will need to pay special attention to Tadic, Ziyech and Van de Beek, who have the penchant to reserve their best for the Champions League.

The Chelsea midfielder told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: “The guys who can make a difference are Dusan Tadic, Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek, who often score in Champions League games.

“Chelsea have to watch out for these three.

“But collectively Ajax are good as well and are fine at the back too.

“I do not know whether they are as good as last season.”
