Celtic summer signing Hatem Abd Elhamed has heaped praise on the Hoops' character and never give up attitude, insisting the team do not know when they are beaten.

The Scottish Premiership champions hosted Lazio at Celtic Park in the Europa League a fortnight ago and made a second-half comeback to register a 2-1 victory on the night.

Celtic were 1-0 down going into half-time, but pulled level in the 67th minute before Christopher Jullien found the back of the net with the just one minute of regular time to go to give the Hoops the win.

Abd Elhamed, who was replaced six minutes before Jullien's winner, believes the victory against Lazio is a sign of Celtic's resilience and character.

The Israeli international insists the Bhoys do not know when they are beaten and stressed how they have been showing a good level of consistency both in Europe and domestic competition.

This team doesn’t know when it’s beaten”, Abd Elhamed was quoted as saying by The Herald.

We have really good players who have great experience and very good character.
