Real Madrid are interested in snapping up Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo.

Los Blancos are planning to part with either Iker Casillas or Diego Lopez in the summer and coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring in De Gea as a replacement.

The Spain shot-stopper left his homeland in the summer of 2011, swapping Atletico Madrid for Manchester United.

Following a rocky start at Old Trafford, De Gea has established himself between the sticks for the Red Devils, impressing Real Madrid.
