Wesley Sneijder's agent has spoken out on speculation his client could be set to link up with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United next season, dubbing the talk "just rumours".
The Galatasaray playmaker enjoys a close relationship with Van Gaal, who is currently trusting in his skills at the World Cup, Sneijder having been included in the Netherlands squad.
It has been suggested that Sneijder could link up with Van Gaal at Old Trafford; the Dutch midfielder has been consistently linked with Manchester United over the last two years.
But Sneijder's agent has sought to cool thoughts that could happen.
"The rumours about Manchester United are not true", the Dutchman's agent was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.

"Neither Sneijder nor I have had any contact with anyone from the Red Devils and I have never heard about a possible transfer involving Van Gaal.
"It's just rumours. Sneijder loves Istanbul and his family now feels at home."
