Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is being presented with an award by the Dutch Judo Association (JBN).

The JBN will present Van Gaal with its esteemed Anton Geesink Award this coming Saturday at the Papendal sports hall.

The award for Van Gaal comes on national judo day in the Netherlands and is handed out to an individual who is judged to have done something special for the sport or has a special achievement to their name.

The 63-year-old led the Netherlands to third place at the World Cup last summer, before upping sticks to take charge at Manchester United.

Van Gaal currently has Manchester United sitting fourth in the Premier League table and on course to qualify for next season's Champions League.
