Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has reiterated the club’s commitment towards trying to sign Manchester United and Arsenal target Paulo Dybala.

The Nerazzurri have emerged as the dark horses in the race for the signature of Dybala, who is expected to leave Palermo at the end of the season after failing to agree terms on a new contract.

With Juventus believed to be in pole position to sign the 21-year-old and the English trio of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool also interested in acquiring his services, Inter were considered the outsiders in the race for Dybala.

However, Roberto Mancini’s men have been doing all the legwork in the transfer saga over the last few weeks and the Inter boss himself spoke with the forward to convince him to join him at the San Siro.

Though Palermo’s €40m asking price for Dybala remains beyond their reach, Inter vice-president Zanetti stressed that they are trying to work around their financial constrains to get the deal done for the Argentine striker.
