Manchester United linked Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has said that his agent hasn’t received any offer for a transfer from any club.

The Dutch international has enjoyed a fine season between the sticks at Ajax and has been named the club’s Player of the Year.

With David de Gea’s future at Manchester United far from certain, it has been speculated that Louis van Gaal will make a move for Cillessen if the Spaniard packs his bag for Real Madrid this summer.

Despite rumours of Manchester United preparing a €25m offer for Cillessen, the Ajax hierarchy are adamant that the 26-year-old is not for sale at the end of the season.

The goalkeeper himself said that his agent is yet to receive any offers from anyone and revealed that he is not exactly happy with all the speculation surrounding his future at Ajax.

Cillessen also said that if he wanted to leave this summer, he would not have signed a new contract with the Amsterdam club.

“I have checked with my agents and there has been no contact [from any club]”, Cillessen told Voetbal International.

“I am not enjoying getting linked with others clubs, while I am busy at Ajax. If I wanted to leave, I would not have extended my contract until 2018.

“My previous contract ran until 2016 and I could have easily left this summer.

“And the coach [Frank de Boer] was pretty clear when he was asked questions about my future.”
