Liverpool legend Sami Hyypia has returned to management with Swiss Super League side FC Zurich.

The Finn has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with an option for a further year and will officially take over at the club from 31st August.

Hyypia has been out of work since parting ways with Championship side Brighton in December last year, with the Seagulls struggling near the foot of the table.

Now the former defender is making a comeback in Switzerland with FC Zurich.

Hyypia takes over a side currently sitting seventh in the 10-team Swiss Super League, having collected five points from five games.
