Manchester United have been keeping regular tabs on Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier ahead of the summer transfer window.

The club are expected to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to conduct major transfer business in the summer and signing a right-back is believed to be on their wish-list.




Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is said to be their top target, but the club are also tracking a number of other options in Europe ahead of the transfer window.

Meunier has regularly been linked with a move to Manchester United and the player has himself admitted that he is a big fan of the club.
 


And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Manchester United scouts are regularly watching the PSG full-back ahead of the summer.

It has been claimed that Manchester United have been ramping up their scouting on Meunier and have been sending regular reports to the club.

The 27-year-old is on the shortlist of targets the club could pursue in the next few months.

It remains to be seen whether he is one of their priority targets or is being considered as a back-up option.
