Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have probed the possibility of signing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski this summer.

The 30-year-old is enjoying another prolific season at Bayern Munich, scoring 38 goals in all competitions for the German giants.

He still has two years left on his contract and could even sign another new deal with the Bavarians, who at the moment do not want to sell the striker.

But a new deal is yet to be signed and it has emerged two European heavyweights have tested the waters to assess whether Lewandowski would be open to a transfer.

According to German magazine Kicker, Manchester United and PSG have put in enquiries with Bayern Munich to probe the possibility of signing the Poland international.

Lewandowski has not made a final decision on what he wants to do this summer and is not averse to the idea of experiencing something different after five years at Bayern Munich.

But the German champions remain confident that they will be able to convince the 30-year-old to sign on the dotted line of a new contract.
