Barcelona are not prepared to meet the agent fees that super agent Mino Raiola wants for Liverpool and Manchester United target Matthijs de Ligt to move to the Camp Nou.

De Ligt has been tipped to exit Ajax this summer and several clubs are vying to land the 19-year-old captain of the Dutch giants.

Barcelona have long been the favourites to land the defender but there have been growing concerns that their pursuit of the player is losing momentum.

De Ligt has not yet taken a firm call over his future and Barcelona are now unprepared to meet the fees his agent Raiola wants.

The Italian super agent has been suspended by FIFA, but according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, he has a leading role in one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.

Raiola has demanded fees in the region of €8m to €10m, but Barcelona are in no mood to pay such kind of sums to the Italian.

Barcelona are hoping that De Ligt will push for a move to the Camp Nou and overrule his agent in order to earn the transfer.

But with De Ligt also been linked with clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, Raiola may have other sides who are willing to meet his demands lined up.
