Serie A giants AC Milan are considering a swoop for Tottenham Hotspur full-back Serge Aurier during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old has started the last two Premier League games but did not play a single minute of football during the first month of the season.

Aurier has admitted he was prepared to leave Tottenham during the summer transfer window due to personal issues, but he remains at the north London club and is knuckling down this term.

The speculation over his long term future at Tottenham has persisted and there are suggestions that he could still consider leaving the club during the winter transfer window.

And according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, Serie A giants AC Milan are one of the clubs who could make a move for the Tottenham right-back in January.

The Italians are in the market for a full-back and Aurier has emerged as one of the options the club are seriously considering.

He has three years left on his contract with Tottenham, but Spurs could consider letting him go as he is not one of the certainties in the starting eleven.
