Burnley are considering making a move for Derby County’s 19-year-old full-back Jayden Bogle during the January transfer window, according to The Athletic.

Matt Lowton’s performance against Tottenham did not fill Burnley with confidence and they are also without Phil Bardsley, who has been out injured.

The 30-year-old has been struggling for form and Burnley are set to dip into their funds to sign a right-back during the January transfer window.

The Clarets are in the market for a new right-back in January and are looking at a number of players.

And it has been claimed that Derby’s teenage right-back Bogle is one of the players the club are targeting for the January transfer window.

A product of the Derby academy, the teenager has made 14 appearances in the Championship this season and is the first choice right-back in Phillip Cocu’s side.

Burnley have been impressed with his development this season and are considering taking him to Turf Moor next month.

But the Clarets are one of many clubs in the top two divisions who have been tracking Bogle’s development this year.

He has a contract until 2022 and Derby are likely to put up resistance if clubs come calling for the teenager in January.
