Arsenal are preparing for the potential exit of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Ramsdale has lost his place in the starting eleven to David Raya despite the criticism the Spaniard has endured for his performances this season.

The English goalkeeper is expected to try and leave Arsenal in the summer as he wants to play regular football next season.

Ramsdale is wary of losing his place in the England squad and is keen to get back to playing week-in-week-out as soon as possible.

It has been claimed that Arsenal are now putting plans in place for his potential departure in the summer.

The Gunners want to line up a replacement for Ramsdale before he leaves and already have a solution in their sight.

USA goalkeeper Patrick Schulte has emerged as a target for the Gunners if Ramsdale moves on in the summer.

The 23-year-old has impressed with MLS side Columbus Crew this season and is now wanted at the Emirates.

Arsenal want to ensure that if Ramsdale does leave then they have a replacement ready.
