With Serie A super-agent Ernesto Bronzetti warning Inter that Jose Mourinho is Real Madrid’s key target this summer the Italian giants are preparing to do everything in their power to keep the Portuguese coach at the club. And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Inter are ready to sign Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal to persuade him to stay.

Fabregas is a long time target of both Barcelona and Real Madrid, but now it seems Inter have entered the fray. The paper believes that the arrival of Fabregas would be carried out to send a message to Mourinho. Firstly to show the Portuguese that Inter are ready to compete for the biggest names in the game, and secondly to show their total confidence in him.

With Arsenal keen to hold onto their Spanish midfielder, and with Barcelona ready to mount a €30-35M bid behind the scenes, it is further speculated in the report that Inter could throw Mario Balotelli into any possible deal, aware that Arsene Wenger admires the young striker.
