Yaya Toure’s controversial agent Seljuk Dimitri has returned to his outspoken ways, failing to resist from speaking out after being silent for a few weeks. The Ivorian’s representative claims that his client is now looking very likely to leave Barcelona in the summer, after a disappointing season.
Toure was a regular in Barca’s midfield during their record-breaking campaign, but found himself behind Seydou Keita in the pecking order this year. Dimitri believes his client’s lack of playing appearances is down to financial reasons.
“The player has a 90% chance of leaving Barcelona this summer,” Toure’s outspoken representative said on Sport. “Unfortunately, this season, Touré has not played what I would have liked. I think that this is due to a clause in his contract renewal. It has a major economic bonus if he plays more than 60% of official matches of the season."
