Cesc Fabregas is due back at Arsenal today and will meet manager Arsene Wenger to discuss his future. Barcelona based daily Sport believe that this meeting is the Camp Nou side’s last chance of concluding a deal for the midfielder this summer, and are hoping Fabregas tells Wenger he wants to leave.

The Spain midfielder is due to attend training in the morning and then meet with Wenger soon after. The Frenchman will surely tell Fabregas that he wants him to remain in north London, and that Barcelona have not submitted an offer that is in any way suitable for Arsenal. How hard Fabregas chooses to push for the move should ultimately decide whether he plays Premier League or La Liga football this season.

Barcelona are waiting with baited breath, knowing there is little more they can do to bring the transfer about this summer. Instead, it falls to Fabregas to decide where he sees his future for the 2010/11 campaign.
