Brazilian side Palmeiras are hoping to tempt Ronaldinho back to his homeland. With just six months left on his contract with AC Milan, there has been much talk that the former Barcelona star could exit the Rossoneri in January, with several clubs being touted as possible destinations.

Palmeiras however, are a serious option, as Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto Assis explained.

"The offer is interesting from Palmeiras, and a return to Brazil is possible", said Assis, adding that his brother would be keen to add some South American silverware to go alongside his European titles.

"Ronnie wants to add to his list of titles and add what he hasn’t got yet, like the Brazilian championship or the Copa Libertadores."
