Jurgen Klinsmann has refused to rule out a return to the Bundesliga, stating that if the job were the right one then he would certainly be open to heading back to his homeland.

The former Germany coach bossed Bayern Munich in the 2008/09 season, but was soon moved on from the Allianz Arena following a poor run of results. Klinsmann now works as a consultant to MLS side Toronto FC and continues to live in the United States.

Asked whether a return to coaching in the Bundesliga was a possibility, Klinsmann replied: "If it is the right configuration, it matches the human and my way of thinking, this could certainly be a great new challenge."

And Klinsmann revealed he has not been short of offers, but none have yet tickled his fancy.

"There have been many requests, but I think when it does not suit me 100% I do not need to do it."
