Arsenal are reportedly taking a keen interest in Tunisian defender Karim Haggui as they draw up their list of summer transfer targets. The 27-year-old currently turns out in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96 and has attracted the Gunners’ attention in recent months.

Paris Saint-Germain came close to landing Haggui in the summer, but in the end a move to France failed to materialise. The Tunisia international is expected to be the subject of much attention when the transfer window reopens once again though and PSG could yet return for the player.

Haggui has turned out for Strasbourg and Bayer Leverkusen since making the move to European football from his native country and would surely find the prospect of a switch to Arsenal appealing.
