Former Liverpool winger Harry Kewell could end up plying his trade in the MLS. The Australian is currently at Turkish side Galatasaray, a club he joined from the Reds in 2008.

However, Galatasaray’s season this year has been nothing short of a disaster and big changes are expected at the club. With Kewell’s contract running out in the summer, a move away from Istanbul looks likely for the Australian.

Kewell signed a one-year extension last summer, seeing him receive a lump sum of €1M and €30,000 per appearance. This year he has featured 18 times in the Super Lig.

A move to the MLS would surely appear to the Australian and it is believed he is open to offers from the quickly improving league.
