In-demand Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez has spoken of his admiration for Barcelona.
The 23-year-old Udinese man is being chased by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Inter, Juventus and Real Madrid.
Recently however, Catalan daily Sport, reported that Barcelona had begun to weigh up the possibility of signing Sanchez, and the Chilean’s words will delight all those at the Camp Nou.
"Barca is a beautiful club", said Sanchez to Chilean magazine Futbol.
But on his future, the player was more guarded, not wishing to give anything away. Indeed, it is still possible, although unlikely, that Sanchez could stay next season and help Udinese in their Champions League campaign after the club finished fourth in Serie A.
"I’m not really thinking about that [my future], nor choosing [a team].
"We all want to progress, play and win important things and that generally occurs at the biggest teams in the world, so we hope to be able to play for one of course and in the future."
