Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to accelerate their transfer plans after the arrivals of Nicolas Douchez and Kevin Gameiro, and are hopeful of snapping up Adel Taarabt from Queens Park Rangers.
The Moroccan midfielder was targeted by PSG earlier in the summer, although serious moves at the Parc des Princes have been on hold until new sporting director Leonardo takes up his position within the club.
But with the Brazilian’s impending arrival PSG are bidding to quickly close a deal for the 22-year-old, who remains keen to turn out for the Ligue 1 giants.
PSG will put an offer on the table for Taarabt of between €12M and €15M, a figure they remain confident will be enough to secure the schemer’s release from QPR.
Upon agreement with QPR, PSG are confident that Taarabt’s transfer can be wrapped up within days.
