Zinedine Zidane’s son Enzo took his first steps toward Real Madrid’s first team on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old, who plays as a midfielder for one of Los Blancos’ youth teams, was invited to train under the watchful eye of Jose Mourinho.

And Enzo Zidane also had the pleasure of working with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, amongst Real Madrid’s other glittering array of stars.

The invitation was the surest sign yet that the young Zidane has more than a little of his father’s talent within his feet and great things are expected from the starlet.

Zidane senior, who played for Real Madrid from 2001 until 2006 and now works as sporting director at the Bernabeu, was also present to keep an eye on his son.

The Frenchman also has two other sons involved with Real Madrid’s youth teams – Luca and Theo.
