Manchester United are tracking Villarreal midfielder Bruno Soriano.

The 27-year-old enforcer has impressed with the Yellow Submarine and has cropped up on the Red Devils’ radar as a potential target.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, United are set to scout Soriano comprehensively before the January transfer window as they ponder putting in an official offer for the player.

Soriano is a product of Villarreal’s youth academy and the Spanish side are not keen on parting with his services.

Indeed, Soriano is still progressing and following Spain’s World Cup victory in 2010, was handed his first national team start by Vicente del Bosque.

The 27-year-old is primarily left footed and can also operate at left back.

Soriano is valued at around the €10M mark.
