Arsenal and Juventus could engage in a spectacular player exchange in the January transfer window according to sources in Italy.
Antonio Conte’s Bianconeri have been mooted as being on the trail of Arsenal’s flying winger Theo Walcott, believing the former Southampton youth product could tear apart defences in Serie A with his lightening pace.
And while the Gunners could be open to allowing the 22-year-old to embark upon an Italian adventure, Arsene Wenger would want one of Juventus’ crown jewels in exchange – Milos Krasic.
Krasic has excelled in Serie A since landing at Juventus from CSKA Moscow last year.
The 26-year-old’s fine displays in Turin have not gone unnoticed, with both Chelsea and Manchester United known to be paying close attention to his situation.
And while Juventus would be reluctant to part with Krasic, the opportunity to snap up Walcott may be too good to pass up.
Conte is building a Juventus side with pace as he plots a 4-3-3 formation to help the Bianconeri to once again dominate Italian football.
Walcott is seen as a player who could move that dream some way closer towards becoming a reality.
