Romelu Lukaku’s agent has ruled out a move away from Chelsea in the current transfer window for his client – even on loan.

The powerful Belgian striker has been kicking his heels on the bench at Stamford Bridge, with first team opportunities hard to come by for the 18-year-old.

It had been speculated that the former Anderlecht hitman could move elsewhere to enjoy more time on the pitch to aid his development, but Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas continues to see the forward as an important option.

And this, combined with having already played for Anderlecht at the start of the 2011/12 season, has put a move off the agenda according to the player’s representative Christophe Henrotay.

"His departure is not expected for two reasons", explained Henrotay to Fichjaes.

"First, because Chelsea do not want to let him go.

"But mostly because he cannot, as he has played with two different clubs this season."
