Everton are looking closely at the possibility of snapping up striker Guillaume Hoarau from Paris Saint-Germain on loan.

According to French daily Le Parisien, the Toffees would like to take the 27-year-old hitman to Goodison Park this month, but his future at the Parc des Princes looks uncertain.

At present PSG are believed to be minded to keep Hoarau until the end of the current campaign at least.

But that could change if Carlo Ancelotti is able to pull off a transfer market coup.

The former Chelsea boss is in the market for a big name attacking arrival, which could convince the Ligue 1 giants to allow Hoarau to leave.

Also keeping tabs on the striker are Fulham and Sevilla.

Hoarau is keen for regular first team football to boost his Euro 2012 chances, but would need to be convinced of the merits of any move.
